Well....

I'm in the process of running my brake, fuel and battery lines inside the car (after knocking the fuel line off on an odd brick in my daily driver!.... Fuel F*ing everywhere!!!) While i was at it I thought "I'll put a thicker bit of battery cable in, after all there's probably a bit of volt drop across that cable while cranking......"

So.... I found an online chandlers that sell thick cable and I ordered a piece to fit the 10mm hole in the clamp on battery terminals......sorted!

A box turns up with a nice polite note saying, "Sorry but we don't have the cable size you ordered in stock, so we've sent you the next size up".

The stuff is like Heater hose!! 13mm core!!, 15mm outside dia!! It's bloody nice though, so i fitted it anyway. suprisingly flexible too.

Just watch out the gippo's don't steal it in the middle of the night to weigh in all the copper........!
