This is probably a stupid question but is there such a thing as a template for a sump guard or some detailed drawings with bend dimensions and fixing holes (if that makes sense) as I need one for my car but they are all to expensive new and second hand and I think I might be able to make it cheaper

If such a template or drawing exists where could I get one

I've got a chunky alloy one stashed in the loft I'm probably never going to use.

Hi alex

What's the lowest price you could do it for including postage unless you are close to Radlett at which point I might be able to pick up

Somerset is the opposite side of the country, so I doubt either of us will be passing by any time soon...

I was going to ask £30 for the guard if I took it to Bingley this weekend as it is brand new and still has the plastic wrap on it.

Postage is about a tenner.

I'm not going to bingley

Erm little to expensive for me thanks very much for your help

I think I've found away around the problem and its not that urgent as my car is about a year away from completion so something may come up cheaper and nearer

Thanks anyway Alex your help was much appreciated

If you haven't sold it or used it by the time I do come to need one I might be back in touch with you if that's ok?

No worries - it's hardly a ballache to weigh a sumpguard and look at Royal Mails website !

Drop me a line when you're looking again and if I haven't sold it it's available to you.
