What bore rear wheel cylinders will give the least amount of braking??? No matter what i try my rear wheels lock up under hard braking. I have 7.5"discs up front and all my brake lines and hoses are new so theres no problem of a blocked/kinked brake line not allowing fluid to return freely.

So is it bigger bore cylinders or smaller to reduce the braking force at the rear??? I know there are at least 5 different bore sizes to choose from so ive got quite a selection.

Oh and i adjust up the rears so the shoes are just skimming on the drums and the handbrake adjusted so 4 clicks locks the wheels, so these should'nt be causing the problem.

Many thanks,

T3tone.

I have a brake bias valve installed, it's great, you can adjust the breaking for the MOT, everyday driving and the track, all without getting out of your seat. Highly recomended

WTF are you still running one of them systems for? Seriously - buy a pipe kit from the specialists and re-do the lot like it should be done - Then you can also run a rear bias valve or the smaller cylinders...

ps - you need a smaller bore slave cylinder to reduce the pressure...

Agree with Dave, junk the diagonal b*llocks and pipe it up so it is a front to rear split. Then as Jim says get an in-line brake pressure reducing valve and you can increase and decrease front to rear bias to your liking. I used to add a bit more rear bias when "having a go" round some lanes, or I used to remove some rear bias when it was bloody slippy out and about.
