Most people change over to the older Lockheed type instead of the Verto type, this is almost essential once any real degree of tuning begins. The verto just won't cope with a serious hyke in Torque. With the Lockheed you have a choice of progressivley stronger diaphragms and various plates. A grey diaphragm and rally/race plate seams adequate for "most" applications.
