Now then my fellow flat cap wearing Yorkshire dwellers of the IT flavour,

I've acquired an old IBM thinkpad, it has a serial port so might be handy for ECU type work

The battery is u/s but plugged in it powers up but is password protected so I can't do much with it.

Is it possible to do anything with it to get it running?

Ta.

Pass, its at home, I'll find out and post up later. Its certainly pretty old, has a "Win 95" sticker on. If its not worth bothering with I'll just skip it, it came for free so no worries.

Should be easy enough to flash the bios and get rid of it.
