yes i have searched and read lots of threads
ok so the shell is built and the car runs and drives, engine is a run of the mill worn out metty turbo.
gearbox is sorted and all the nice bits in (or i have all the bits but its not built yet )
im not looking for a rocket with 200 ponies, just a very eye watering lively track day toy/weekend warrior . it was only built for fun but dont want to be the RAC mans best mate every week end
new pistons and nice head i know, but what
what spec would you go for ?

I'd start by thinking about my power hopes, do you want 130 or 170 horses? Then you can go from there deciding on turbo, compression ratio, clutch, gearbox etc.

If its a track weekend car I'd be looking at the top end of the scale, so look for some other setups running 150 to 180 nanas and steal some ideas for your engine. I think Paul S made a good table of parts/modifications needed for expected power.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
