No Avonpark for me !

Well it doesn't look like i'll be making Avon this year, and i can't even blame it on my car !!
I'm sitting here with a broken shoulder after falling off my mountain bike last night. A rather slippy surface didn't seem to agree with my high speed, getting spat off at nearly 30mph is not fun ! Thankfully i was wearing some body armour, this saved my knees/shins, elbows and my helmet, full face type, definatley saved my head from a hard blow on some rocks.
Anyway don't think i'll be driving in time, but hopefully my mate will be bringing his car so i'll still be able to watch you lot.

bad news there phil, like benross says you'll mend!!

i gave up dirt jumping on my mtb as it was not doing my health any good!!

i broke my collar bone a few years back as well, annoying and painful!
Believe it or not i was playing cricket, involved a spetacular dive though!!

know how ya feel phil, ive come of my mountain bike at simlar speeds (and mis judgeing landing nic nacs etc) just glad you were wareing some body armour etc.

once upon a time i fell off my bike with my full face on-i was lucky enough for my face to pop out of the opening at the front resulting in a nice cut accross my cheek, lips and chin, then the bike landed on the back of my head so im pleased i was wearing it

ive had a proper shit day do

my drainage seems to have blocked theres shit right to the top of the drain cover in the garden

depending on how much it costs i may have to use the money i have aside to get the rest of the car done scuppering my avon park as well

to top it of had a rock smack me in the back of the head tonight with a group of about 4 kids running away, nice lump my ears are ringing and a little blood, i recognised one of them as one of lisa's neighbours so will be having words tomorrow
