i did on my passat, used a meguiars kit, came with a drill mounted polishing mop, but no sand paper, one headlight came up a treat but the other not so well, but i suspect if i had used really fine sandpaper before polishing, it would have worked alot better |

I cleaned up the units on my old audi. Didn't use any fancy kit though. Used G3 cutting compound and the polishing mop. It made a huge difference to the lights |

done tonnes, i sand with 2000 grit till the wash off from the wet and dry paper is white rather than yellowish, then g3, then g10. to be ohnest if you have the patience it can be done with just time and a cutting compound :) turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Evolution.... So after you have sanded with the 2000 grit, you buff in the G3 & G10 with a polishing cloth? That usually does it?

Basically, sans off the yellow stuff, then sand/polish with increasingly finer compounds. I'd expect the only eay your goung to get a quick result is to use a machine polisher |
