Alright folks,
come to trial build my engine up today, just crank rods and new piston no rings.
all good, till i got to the 3rd piston, they're fully floating pistons and where the gudgeon pin goes in on one of the pistons is some scoring/scratches. what can i do with these? i was thinking the main man carl austin is probably best with this, but is there some sort of bush that can go in this? reem the hole then put a bush in and reem that to size? trialed the pin in, runs smooth as anything inside it, hasnt seemed to affect it, but no chance im running it like that. anyway heres a pic, all comments and opinions will be appreciated.

I dont like the look of that - it looks as if someone has forced a pin through with dirt or something.

yeah, shitty pin been forced through IMO,

personally I'd clean it up with a bit of fine W&D and run it.

dont go overboard,

you literally just want to take the high spots off from the scoring, litterally a few rubs with 1000-1200 grit
