Mmmm this year looks exciting? I think Lewis jumped a year early, I recon Jenson is in with a very good shot.

Just on Looks, using the old saying if it looks fast...

the Red Bull looks like last years car
the RED cars look like they have gone a bit aggressive and will have issues again.
mac'ers Look very fast
lotus look like a solid car.
merc looks fat, and slow.

Oh and i love the look of the new Sauber.

what does everyone think? where would you stick a £10er

That mcclaren looks quick but I think Renault with the ice man could clinch it.

Come on Williams!
I think its hard to tell how everyone will perform this year until the racing starts, the cars are so similar to last year, and there are such small margins between doing well and doing badly I think it could be quite an interesting year.

I think it's a bad sign that Williams haven't fielded their new car yet, I'm glad I'm not the only one nerdy enough to watch the testing footage!

Williams have planned to use their old car at the first test for a while now, it allows comparison of the tyres and new wings etc against last years data, and as the new car is similar it allows us to better know the effects of the changes we have made.
And the new car was started up last week, and everything is on schedule so I don't think that being late is such a bad thing :)

It is all to early to make any meaningful judgements. The only thing you can say is that it looking mighty tight at the top. Any one of 4 or 5 or maybe even 6 teams could take wins this year. I fancy a bet on a sauber to win a race.

Can't wait for that next year, that, and maybe the end of stepped noses? Maybe?

Maybe Williams have something to hide they don't want others to see too early.

Just fron what Gary Anderson said: Mclaren, Red Bull and Renault (sorry Lotus) look in the best from. closly followed by Ferrari.

Roll on Barcelona.

North of the Netherlands

Don't forget Kimmi Raikonen; he was pretty fast in Jerez...
You have to love the comments over the radio last year..!

On a chauvenistic note, there will be another dutch guy driving again, Giedo van der Garde for Caterham. Obviously not racing for first but interested to see how he will do in F1.

Dazed and Confused....

I think you have to take the first test results with a pinch of salt. Jerez is a filthy track, and is too small and bumpy to conduct a proper test. Most of our stuff looks like its been through 10 gravel traps.

Until the last day of t03, no one will have even half an idea, as everyone stays in launch spec until then.

This is FORD country, on a quiet day you can hear Vauxhalls rusting.

I read there were some complaints about the circuit from Pirelli aswell.

I just hope it's close again, although I wouldn't mind if Vettel managed not to win this year!

Haha, they couldn't develop a photo, let alone a race car!

Word on the street is that their chassis is too heavy, and not stiff enough?!

I reckon it's between FA, SV , and KR.

Button isn't quick, he has about 4 career poles. He won't win you a championship unless he has far superior equipment, and like has been mentioned, the field has proven to be too close.

I agree, would love for Button to win but if Ferrari have got their act together then Alonso will be something else.

Quite a good way of looking at it, but still all will be different in 3 weeks time.

well I was only saying to the wife the other day, that Adrian Newey looked worried, nervous, like he wasn't sure this time. Mean he always looks a bit like that but then he must be under constant pressure..

Still we will se next month..
