Chaps got a few cams I'm trying to identify

Pic 1 no stampings just a groove pic 2 shows groove




Pic 3 no Stampings but 2 Rings Pic 4 shows Rings




Pic 5 no Stampings but has 1 ring at other end Puic 6 shows close up




Pic 7 has no grooves or rings but has DD stamped in the end?




Any Help would be much appreciated

First one is an MG metro, the rest are worthless imo, well apart from for regrind

Well the dd I have no idea, the 2nd one I believe to be a 997 cooper cam.

Just because it 'looks' like an MG cam does not mean that it actually is, especially in this day and age.

Mike, there is nothing to say that it is not a regrind. The way the discolouring from the hardening is on every surface except the bearing journals, is an indication that it may well be a regrind, so measure the lobe lift and compare it to the MG specs to be absolutely sure.

Hi. The standard a+1275 cam is unmarked, could be it.
The second one is OE 848 A+/ early 8.3:1 low cr 998 A+ cam.
They all look pretty worn, i would not use those..

The second cam is not the 850, the marking rings are in a diffetent location
