Hello.

quick question, im running metty turbo 4 pots on the mini (for now) but am contemplating not running a servo.

is anyone on here running 4 pots non servo? hows it feel, why master cylinder are you using, standard mini type or an aftermarket size?

if i can id rather dump the servo, depending on peoples results.

cheers.

They should be fine without a servo. My MS 4 pots run with a yellow duel circuit master cylinder are fine. Ok you have to press harder than a servo, but not stupid.

im not worries about pressing harder, itl save me working that one at the gym, suppose the main question along with how it performs is what bits to buy to convert.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Northamptonshire.

If you wanted a servo couldn't you just convert to single line with a remote servo?

He already has the servo But he doesn't really want the servo, why would he want to convert to a single line servo?

Serves effect the pressure required to push the pedal. They have no effect on pressure that reaches the calliper

7.9" vented ali miniSport 4 pots on 's' master and rear bias valve on racer work really well with no servo. Much nicer pedal feel than the road car running 7.5 's' brakes with late servo.

i use minisport 4 pots with 8.4" vented rotors no servo and i blody love it! i feel i have more control without the servo as the line is fine between braking hard and locking up on bumpy roads

as a comparison i press the brakes about as hard as my gray pre vet clutch

i agree with apbellamy

I find left foot breaking without a servo much easier. With a servo it is easy to over do it.

I've been thinking of ditiching the servo recently, mainly for more space under the bonnet but if it helps the feel of the brakes that's another good reason to do it.

Am I right in thinking you just need a different pedal box and the non servo cylinder w/ brake lines?

You need a none servo pedal box, or at least a replacement brake pedal as the pin hole is in a different place.

I have a non servo pedal box and potentially a spare pedal in the nimbus that I don't plan to use.
