Help I have dropped a washer down the engine breather hole at the bell housing end. Does this require an engine out and strip or is there any other way of getting the bugger out. Thanks
Jim

On my A+ unit there is an elbow type shape cast into the clutch housing that turns though 90 degrees to vent the engine from above the drop gears. If your lucky you my get it out with a magnet. Other wise strip down, would not risk leaving it in

maybe not engine out, i have had the dropgear casing off before with the engine still in after killing an oil pump gasket, but 100% find that washer before starting the car

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

Get the washer out WHATEVER IT TAKES......or it will all end in tears,

Got it it was still in the top part. A smaller finger with a dab of grease on it located it.
