I apologise because I know this has been covered before but I an rubbish at searching.

I have rebuilt another GT1752 for the van project and will need banjo bolts for the oil feed and return - what size are they, please ?

And is it the same thread for the water connections ?

Can't see how you would fit a threaded return anyway, the hole is not tapped and is about 17mm across.

Just a quick question while we're on the subject what size are the threads in the small oil feed tee piece at the front of the block

Be careful with the oil feed, I'ts an m12 x 1.25 pitch, not the normal m12 x 1.5.

Well that's what the guy at the hydraulics place said. Get itself a tap or bolt and try it before buying one.

I think I've got a spare std bolt on return fir the Saab if your interested.

Just to add, standard M12 is 12x1.75. The 1.5 and 1.25 pitches are both widely used and finer than standard.
Thread pitch gauges are relatively cheap and invaluable for things like this, I would not be without mine.
