I have just sold my 1968 Tr250 as I miss the tinkering now that its finished, but can only have a one car garage. My plan is "Matching Mini's" The first Mini is on the boat, and I plan to turbocharge it, and the second will be arriving when BMW release the Turbo version (2007?) The beauty of this plan is that they will both fit in the garage....

To make things difficult I live in the States (Philadelphia) so Metro parts are going to be pretty scarce!!

Anyone out there in the Philly area Turbocharged??

look out for www.tubominis.com, cos I just bought it, will sort out some pictures and get a website up as soon as the mini arrives.

TurboDave is also in the US, but probably not near you. He's pretty much the Turbo A-Series Daddy of the US *wink* and one of our regular posters.

Great, Do you ever go to the British carshow/polo match in Lancaster?? I think its usually in August and even my wife enjoys that one, horses as well as cars, everybody's happy!!. If so I would love to see your car.

Yes looking into the parts it seems that even with the exchange rate most mini parts are cheaper in the UK esp. ex VAT. Sending them is sorted I have a friend of a friend who can send them, in fact he sent the car which is due in any day now.
