I have "good" used yellow tag brake and tin clutch cylinders.

They both look ok, apart from the rubber boots underneath are slightly worn- do they need replacing, i.e. do they actually do anything?

I should really buy new ones as the whole build is fresh- but they moneys keep adding up so thought I would use used stuff- hopefully it won't bite me in the arse.

Also, can someone confirm that I need to use 1/2" slaves on the rear? I have minisport alloy 4 pots on the front (7.5"), no servo, and a manual bias valve that I am locating in the cabin beside the driver.

1/2"s on the rear on a disc braked Mini, always makes sense.

I'd get a rebuild kit for the yellow master. The rubber on the bottom does not need much.

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

I've got a 0.700 bore mc for the hydraulic handbrake- easy to change I guess if it's too big- not sure about your question though!
