Layed up one of my minis for a year or so and was wondering if anyone has had any success with these solar battery conditioners?

I got a fairly decent one, around 400mm square which kept our caravan topped up over winter. |

i have a battery charger with a trickle option on it, its just that it has to be plugged in and was trying to avoid that. Something i could clip to the battery and forget about it for a year or 2. 133.5 bhp 123 lb torque 116mph @6640rpm 9.5psi

I bought a cheap spotlight on battery with a solar panel to charge it. It puts out 11 w and i converted it so it keeps the light battery charged and the car. It does fairly well with that 11w. Although must say that light only burns about 5 minutes a day so that battery almost never discharges. you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
