In the garage......again!!

Layed up one of my minis for a year or so and was wondering if anyone has had any success with these solar battery conditioners?

Dont fancy having to buy another battery next year again so could leave this clipped to the battery and stuck on the garage window.

Have a look in Maplin, over the last few months they have been on and off discount, I got one for £10.

I got a fairly decent one, around 400mm square which kept our caravan topped up over winter.

i have a battery charger with a trickle option on it, its just that it has to be plugged in and was trying to avoid that. Something i could clip to the battery and forget about it for a year or 2.

I bought a cheap spotlight on battery with a solar panel to charge it. It puts out 11 w and i converted it so it keeps the light battery charged and the car. It does fairly well with that 11w. Although must say that light only burns about 5 minutes a day so that battery almost never discharges.

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018
