Iv'e gone and bought meself a parking switch, for the life of me i cant figure out the 3 wires going from the motor, to the switch. Anybody got a picture or can have a look what colour wires go to which spade terminal? i seem to be getting allsorts or weird actions with the wipers.
Colours to connect are blue, yellow and pink/red

In the garage......again!!

just been out and wired it to the diagram, when i press down on the stalk for a 1 sweep wipe, they just stop when i let go of the stalk, i have to hold it down and guess when to park the blades. lifting to 1st position makes them wipe, but position 2 stops them dead.
Any other ideas?.

Hi,
Sounds to me like your park switch is faulty. Is it new? That would explain the them not stopping in the correct position. With regard to the 2nd position, that could be a faulty motor. Iwould also heck continuity so can rule out the wiper stalk too.

it is new, i bought it because of this fault thinking it was the parking switch, its not made any difference.

Starting at the pin nearest the motor/centre of the gear housing the wires go red, yellow, blue.
