Hi All,

As you may of read i had a little trouble getting the engine started in the mini but now it is running fine.

It has not been out on the road yet as no MOT but i have booked it in for a rolling road tune up at Slarks along with an MOT next month.

I noticed a slight oil leak under the car. Not from the normal place, ie engine. It seems to be coming from a joint in the exhaust.

Im hoping its not a seal in the turbo? I dont fancy taking it to Slarks with a duff turbo.

Am i right do you reckon? or another problem?

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Take the down pipe of and shove your finger in. If there's loads of oil on the exhaust side then it's the turbo seals.

Hi,

Ok so i removed the elbow on the end of the turbo and could see the exhuast turbine, it all looked ok nice and dry. A bit of moisture when i started it with my ear defenders on but no oil as such. The puddle under the car that i posted about has evaporated so my guess that it was moisture to start with. Thanks
