Hi all,

I have read the book and it gives a figure of 0.10 to 0.18mm (My book only lists mm). I have put it together with two different gaskets

Gasket one gives me 0.20mm Clearance
Gasket two gives me 0.10mm Clearance

What are peoples thaughts, is a tight clearace a good or bad thing? Do you go loose or tight?

Thanks all

Graham

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

I would have thought it may loosen over time if that's the case go tight. I have no idea if this is the case though. I think I got mine about in the middle by buying a new set from Minispares.

You definitely don't want it too tight, but then again not too loose either. YOu can get away with a bigger clearance on SC drops though.
I always aim for 3-4 thou. 7 is WAY TOO MUCH!

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.
