if it is sound, then it probably would be. However it looks like oversills on it for a start so I would be warey of hidden issues.

I'd phone the guy and find out more about it. next stage would be to go and have a very close look; I wouldn't buy without doing so

It looks solid enough, but there is paint on things like the wiper spindles, loom clips on the inner wings etc. Looks like it has had a blow over. This could be hiding a multitude of sins...

My car looked solid, just needing a couple of patches and a blow over. 5 1/2 years later it's getting there...

It does look worth that kind of money to me but would need to look at it close up, in the flesh for want of a better word, It don't take much to reach that kind of money when you look around it, Its got some nice kit on it a very tidy car, personally I like to build my own projects, theres no pictures of the engine and engine bay, as I say you need to see it in person to get a good look at the car, and welcome to TM.. His feedback as a seller isn't what you would call top notch! Have a look before you buy as others have already advised.

If your really interested in this mini you
need to take some one with you that knows what to look for, maybe a TM member that lives near you..

They rot all over, but pay particular attention to sill, floors and suspension mounting points.

If you are not wanting to do loads of welding, shop around until you find a good one.

Too cheap for the 'look' it has. Most that 'look' like that are 5k

Very nice looking clubby but a fair few quid too cheap for what looks like a solid car.

Best to take a close look at it before making any hasty decisions on buying it. Look at the inside of the A panels, lower doors (including the inner & lower edge that meets the door sill below the doorcards), boot hinge panel and just behind the boot hinge panel inside the boot for any sign of repair or bubbling. Just a few of the more common places for rot and repair.

Any other spots of concern that I've missed out that'll help a new member and mini owner along the way guys?

Life is always a matter of opinion and quite frankly, no ones opinion really matters.
