Due to the sad realisation that I will never build (or more accurately "finish") a mini awesome enough to need this gearbox!

Jack Knight Metro Turbo Challenge Straight Cut Close Ratio Gearset with the following ratio's 1st-2.31 2nd-1.57 3rd-1.19 4th-1.00.

Freshly rebuilt with all new bearings, a brand new 2nd gear and central oil pickup into lightened DAM5626 casing (Casing worked by Paul Wiginton and was used on his sprint for a number of years). The casing is roughly 1kg lighter than standard and the diff housing has been machined to fit an LSD and has had the selector rod steady lug machined off the diff housing so really only suitable for cars with semi-solid mounted engine or internal gear linkage setup.

Long serving members will know how rare these gearsets are and that they are well proven and strong.

It also comes fitted with a Paul Wiginton full windage tray. I will also include a new laygear bearing which I bought as a spare due to them becoming NLA.

No diff or final drive included with the sale but I am happy to supply and fit at your cost.

In my opinion a bargain @ £600 (The casing & windage tray were £100 between them)

No don't need tools. In fact I'll withdraw the PX offer as cash would be more useful.

Still here.

Price is ono, this box would go especially well with an ATB in it from the group buy *wink*

There is actually a brand new ATB & 3.2 in there at the minute but I want to keep them or would need them replaced.

Could be persuaded to make a deal on a px with a good helical box for rebuild.
