Pasted from my thread on MiniMania:

Since my car was going nowhere fast with regards to the body man, I worked it out with the painter to pick it up last Friday and bring it back the next day, with the expectation of spraying on the LizardSkin insulation. The timing was ideal, since most of the body work (hammer work, anyway) had been done, but prior to the shell getting a coat of paint. So, no worries about ruining a new paint job!

I had some technical difficulties, but overcame them and sprayed in the liner. At first, I was disappointed because I tapped on the roof while the LizardSkin was still damp, and it reverberated almost as badly as it did prior to spraying it on. But I thought that waiting until it was fully cured might change its properties. Indeed, it did! I'm pretty happy with the results. My entire interior (the parts covered by carpet/upholstery/liners) is coated with LizardSkin, as well as the bulkhead and entire boot. It was expensive ($195/2 gallon pail), but the best option, I believe.

For those interested, I have pics and video (they're about 1 and 2.5 MB each, so it might take a few minutes to load) here: http://www.drjing.com/Mini/BLOG/LizardSkinned.htm

I know that you can buy LizardSkin in the UK (seen the ads in MiniMag), and I would recommend this stuff over any of the peel and stick insulations out there!
