Seems like the general consensus is millers ctv. I was using duckhams Q 10w40 synthetic as that was what was recommended by avonbar a few years ago. However millers ctv sounds pretty good even if a little pricey

However millers ctv sounds pretty good even if a little pricey Thanks again to everyone :) the thing is the cvt is designed for the gearbox as well, and its what £40 a gallon? thats like 0.1% the value of most of our engines, good high quality gearbox oil is like £60 a gallon on its own, i have just done the oil in the daily's engine and box, and the engine oil at £15 a litre is not even the 'best' stuff on the market imo millers cvt IS the best oil on the market, or at least thats how i understand it Edited because i just worked out how much my oil was :( Edited by Brett on 5th Mar, 2013. Thanks Brett you have made a good point actually. It's not worth taking the risk after a full engine rebuild :):) |

What about millers 20/50 classic, say for a mildly tuned beast? It still has the gearbox additives if I understand correctly.

hi all just a quick question had any one use, Fuchs Titan Race Pro R 15W-50 Ester Synthetic Oil is A series turbo engine ,also known as Silkolene Pro Race 15w-50, any feed back would be help full thanks Nibble yes i use similar but for the skyline, and a thinner grade for the mini it would be the millers because imo its the correct oil and cheaper On 27th Mar, 2013 WRLondon said:
