Have all the old style v5's gotta be sent back to swansea by july.If not what happens

I thought they meant if you kept the old v5 and didn't update to a new style one it becomes obsolite,so you would have to pay to re register the car again

wot it means is that from july the 1st the old style log book is invalid and you WONT be able to tax ur vehicle without a new one. the DVLA should automaticaly send you anew one, if they dont get on the fone and moan. if you dont get a new v5 then you will have to pay £19 and apply for a new book! DAMN govenment it may b small but it purfectly formed
