So the engine is built and in the car

I am now fitting all the ancillaries.

This is it so far
plus 20 15cc dish Omega pistons
Avonbar phase 2 cam
Med FIS head
C.R. 8.5 to1
1.3to1 roller rockers
Standard SU turbo carb
Standard T3 turbo
Standard actuator
Aldon dizzy
No inter-cooler
(Would be looking to run 10 to 12 psi boost eventually)

I need to know the best initial set up to get it to the MOT and subsequently run it in safely prior to its final rolling road set up.

Would it be OK to run it with the original ERA built modified controls and original carb needle?

(Original ERA report)
http://www.eraturbo.co.uk/history/004.htm

(Or would that give problems as the mods on the engine are a lot different to the original ERA engine.)
And then after running in remove control from the ECU and fit a bleed valve for the rolling road?

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Get a wideband gauge fitted. It's the only real way to tell what your engine is doing.
