I have searched, but found mixed information on the colour of different springs on the AP verto clutch.

I've just removed a AP Verto clutch from a late 998, it as a green blob of paint. I now have 2 green complete setups & 1 Blue spring. The other green setup also came of another 998 I think, I'm confused as other posts suggest green are 1275.

Any body confirm colours and thickness.

Preston On The Brook

Dark green generally from 998's
Brown generally from 1275's ~2.2mm
Dark blue aftermarket uprated
Light blue Metro Turbo ~2.5mm
Light Green Aftermarket uprated

Thickness varies a lot

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Thanks Colin, that's great. where do you measure them? I'm using Verniers, but getting 2.3mm on the 998 & 2.6mm on the turbo, which is a little toohigh.

So just to confirm 2 x 998 springs with 180mm ap bonded clutch plate, should hold about 180ft/lb. I'm replacing my pre verto Grey setup that's sometimes slips around 16-18psi (160ft/lb)
