Hey,

Where does the return water line feed to on your setups?

I'm trying to decide on a piping route and rad. Also can't decide on using a Expansion tank or Overflow tank.

I'm thinking of running a heater matrix after the turbo and then back into the bottom hose?

so am I right in thinking that water wont be cooled by the radiator before being taken around the engine again?

If I plumb it into the top hose, will this be bypassing the thermostat and make it take forever to warm up?

Thanks

I have a fitting in the back of the block where the water drain is/would be, through the turbo and back into the top of the rad,

I wouldnt put a matrix in line as I think it will air lock, aim for the system to be able to thermo syphon when the engine is shut down, when I had mine plumbed int the heater circuit it seemed prone to boiling the water in the turbo after shut down and spitting water out.

Ah ok that makes sense, thanks joe! So into a spacer plate take off thing above the thermostat?

Only thing I don't get is where you said water take off on the back if the block?? Confused. I was planning on coming out the end of the head. Ahem no innuendo intended.

this is the fitting on the block,

this is where I return it into the rad.

or you could cut up a bottom hose and use it as a top hose to get a tee

I like that Joe! Consider that idea stolen! It will mean I can keep me heater switched off! lol
