It is, and probably for a vacuum signal feed. the valve would normally be connected to the inlet manifold, so could be used to signal megajolt/dizzy etc. http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.p...tid=469104&fr=0 |

The valve on the end of the pipe is off a metro car set up not normally used in a mini turbo setup.. Alan Main Build

It is not the anti run on valve, it is the float chamber vent valve, used on the metro turbo to vent the float chamber when the engine is switched off, purpose to allow the fuel vapour produced when the fuel gets hot/boils when the car is switched off after a hard run, to stop the common hot starting problem due to the fuel in the float chamber of the carb turning to vapour.

It is an anti run on valve and it is off the MG Metro. They connect to the inlet manifold on the MG Metro, and they vent straight out of the top, so I wouldn't use it on a boosted car. |

i took off a 10mm but ideally coming off the t-piece it should be 8mm-tail off the plenum is about 8 |

If the valve has an 8mm tail to connect to then it is the float chamber vent as I said. Anti run on valve is larger.

The turbo vent valve and MG anti run on valve look nothing like each other. I'll bet my cock that that is an MG Metro anti run on valve. |

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be... So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'... On 26th Oct, 2004 Tom Fenton said:

No. 6 is the feed to the regulator to tell it to raise the fuel pressure! On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Number 14 is the vent valve, and it connects to the carb. |

What you have is an anti run-on valve from a early ninety's Mini Cooper, it was mounted to the top of the brake servo support frame and 'T' into the servo vacuum line. There is a picture of my engine bay on here showing how it was originally mounted. Own the day
