Northamptonshire.

Quick question. My mates 91 Cooper we sit low in his mini and the wipers don't clear the screen properly on drivers side can't see Sweet F A but in my others mates mk1 racer you sit low and with wipers you can see.

could we swop the boxes round like apbellamy did and run lhd wiper arms would this work or not

If you have a mk1 wiper setup, only half the screen in front of the driver gets wiped, on left hand drive car, wipers parked on the drivers side.. hope this helps. Alan

Yeah I see what your saying just wanna give clearer view through drivers side

Sit low in the car and it dosen't wipe enough of the screen to see at the bottom

The earlier setup would be what you need so that you would be able to wipe the screen on the drivers side from the bottom, them being parked at the drivers side..

Yes it can be done lots of people including my self have updated to the mark 3s, from the mk1, there's no reason why you can not go the other way, not really sure what you would have to get in the way of parts, the only thing I can remember is you will have to drill an other hole and fill the other one left in the shuttle panel no matter Which way you go, may even have to change the wiper motor to the early one too, it's not hard to do once you know what parts you need..
