What is the difference between A and A+ gearbox, regarding bearings and layshaft? The reason I'm asking this is that I want to know if minispares evolution ger set for A+ type gearbox can be fitted to A type gearbox. What do you think of this gear set? It costs 250 GBP is it worth the money?

I'm sure the A and A+ 1st gear used a different pitch and module, hence if the minispares kit was designed to work with a A+ kit, it might not work properly with the A 1st gear...

Email me on davecoxon@totalise.co.uk and i'll send you an email address of a fella who will be able to tell you directly... *wink*

i am pretty sure that 1st was the same for a and a+ aswell as reverse and both syncros.

the rest is different though.

personally i would use a a+ case over the a one.

Hoggy is right. 1st is the same. Oh If you write " An A+ case" as you're supposed to we might understand you *tongue*
