Hi all,

Size wise, is there a difference in the mk1 to later front ends? Or is it mostly cosmetic?

Cheers

wings and the front panels to an extent are the same although some changes to the inner wings (rad cowl comes to mind)

front panels on mk1 would be set for the solid mounted front frame. however this did not change until the 70's

in short, externally, its cosmetic

Okay. Good. It determines which front end I buy. I called up curley, and they don't do shipping to the United States, so I'm probably going to have to go through someone here, which I'm not overly excited about.

The lower valences are different too aren't they, as in they do not recede into the bumper lip so soon (poorly described I know)? Just cosmetic though!

Here's another question for you, given the opportunity to buy either, would you go with a carbon, or a fibreglass front?
