Man is nothing without lathe! They both look a handy size, bug enough to be useful without taking over your entire garage. Are they 3ph or 1ph? http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c248/spe...er1/mini007.jpg

I'm in the same boat, I converted my lathe to single ph which was straightforward enough. My mill runs on a 240v domestic to 415v 3phase digital inverter, bought from a place near Mansfield. It hasn't missed a beat and although expensive (£350) makes my mill as a whole much more valuable if I ever came to sell it on.

Mill was an absolute bargain buy due to the quantity of tools, cutters, vices, chucks, collets, internal borer, clamps and loads more, plus it was well looked after :) http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c248/spe...er1/mini007.jpg

Yes jim it was on the bay. contacted him a week after listing ended without any bids, and done a deal. As soon as u mention the name bridgeport, its big bucks. does it have to be a bridgport interact. I initially was looking for a Bridgport, but buying a good one and then all the tooling was too much. So I done some research and shopped around to get what I did mainly because it had good reviews and all the tooling I could ever need On 28th Mar, 2013 Jimster said:
