i plan on sorting my bonnet out in the next fewweeks. it has kinked a little along the edges in the past, i want to sort out the small dents and ripples that this has left. i plan to fil these etc to eliminate them.

Has the bonnet kinked just in front of the hinges? If so, i'd just reinforce this area. 2m seems a bit excessive. I'd just raid the scrap bin for something about 100-150 long |

hi rob. hope all is good with you. yes its kinked in front of the hinges, on the 'flat' part of the bonnet, as well as towards the curve at the front. i wouldnt use 2 full metres i doublt, would give me a bit to play with. cheers, dan |

B&Q sell various bits of metal. Not the cheapest in the world...but they do sell them. 9.85 @ 145mph
