hello lads and lasses I bought a mini off eBay other week and it cam with no engine in, but was supplied with a mg metro turbo engine which was missing the manifold, carb and turbo.
I bought it off Adams barmy minis and it's a minter.. He said if he was to finish it off he would go for a mirage t2 turbo kit, but I can't find any and 1 guy said he stopped making them. I want something that pulls at about 2.5k revs..

Can anyone help me or point me in right direction as to where I'd get a good stainless manifold, carb and a good turbo from?
Please help lads it's doing my head in and I just want it tax and tested so I can go as..

You only need to post this once.

Change the title to lower case or I will delete this one aswell as the other 3

I seriously doubt it!

id advise you strip the engine give it a good check over as most turbo motors are thrashed and worn out after that use the search function which is very good and save you asking questions asked a million times if you still dont get your ans then ask. what manifold is down to what turbo you go for and what turbo depends on power your after or what the cars going to be used for you can convert a n/a hif44 or use a turbo hif44 carb

I was told a standard metro turbo kicked in about 4.5k revs.
But I wanted something a so it kicked in a bit quicker and was advised on a mirage t2 kit. Just can't find one to buy..

Any help?

Thanks by the way

As it already has a turbo box, it is easier to modify the metro manifold to fit a different turbo.

But you'll need to make an elbow to join to the exhaust.

North Yorkshire

The T3 is on boost by about 2.5 - 3K, not 4.5K, but modern turbos are a better choice.

My answer would be!

Search Search Search Search Search! All the answers are already on this forum.

If you can't be bothered to search try clicking here!

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
