Probably a stupid question but I've got a zeemax bodykit and a fmic

The tiebars should be mounted to the subframe, not the front panel!

If you were to cut the front panel, I'd want to solid mount the subframe and add strengthening to the mount area on the floor.

Weld some sheet onto the floor on the inside where the mounts bolt to, helps to spread the load and prevent it cracking :)

Can you not just remove the front section of the subby then weld in a tubular piece that takes up less room? Thats pretty much how I made my subframe. However heed Colins about the springyness, it twated me on the knuckles when I chopped it away. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.
