Hey guys

My mate has just bought a mini project and also bought a charger set up which came with the following;

Eaton m45 supercharger Poly V pulleys for alternator water pump and crank

Timing chain cover with idle pulley fitted
Polly V belts
Stronger spring for HIFF4
Longer choke cable
Newly rebuilt turbo head off a metro turbo suited to a 1293

He needs the following that he knows of;
charger manifold
carb manifold
Decompression plate turbo head.
Hif44
Oil ccooler
engine bored to 1293
pistons to suit.

he is wondering what needle he'll need for a hiff44?
if he'd be as well going injection and building a mega squirt ecu?
what diff would be best suited for his gearbox
infact what gearbox? Straight cuts or what?

Anything he might have missed?

He will need a custom needle, a good rolling road operator will profile one.

There are a few companies who make the eaton kits, vmax scart, jonspeed, I think minispeed also make a kit.

Iirc vmax might sell the parts separately worth a google. One of them might do a needle to start with?

I run a standard gearbox and drops, I have just rebuilt it with a 4 pin diff and a 3.1 fd. Haven't tried that on the road yet.

It's running on a 998 and if you drive it with mechanical sympathy they will last if everything is in good condition.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!
