Just changed oil ready the for Rivera Run, replaced the running in oil with Millers CTV semi synthetic. Oil level is ok and no signs of any leaks. However I can smell oil quite strong in the cabin. It's a raw unburnt smell. Ive checked the wrapped LCB, and no signs of leakage from rocker cover.

Oil feed to pressure gauge isn't leaking neither.

Oil carch tank is empty .

It's worst at low speed with the window open. Smell from Catch tank?

Never noticed the problem before. The car seems to be running perfect.

Any clues?

I had this for a long time, I pined it down to the catch tank, how I worked it out was, I on plumded it from the tank and just run a hose down the back of the Eng and the smell went away when driving.

Yep. Breathers, we had same issue with van till we ran hose with breather filter in from catch can under the car.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
