hi guys. i've decide to go down the k head route with my mini. so far i've picked up a 1275 motor(free) and have got hold off a k100 engine. as i build 500bhp jag engines all day the build should be no problem. but the wife wont let me spend a load off money on it..something to do with hoildays, garden etc.....so i gonna have to make all the sealing plates. no real problem as i used to be a engineer before. just need some pointers.
1, what cam pulleys would i need?
2, is it better to dry deck or not?
3, which head gasket would be best?

cheers terry

once i start build i'll sort a new thread

those pulleys should be ok, worst case they will foul the bonnet, but thats pretty unlikly I think.

yeah oil feed can come form the oil pressure sensor

I can sell you everything for the cylinder head to use the zetec 1.25 pullies including the seal plate (will need slight mods for the 8v cover). You will then just have to sort out the engine seals belt tensioner jackshaft adapter and modify a zetec 1.25 sprocket (or buy it from fast carl)

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
