Time has come to renew the mini insurance. Now the car has never been done agreed value but for the sake of what it costs it may as well be done!

I have one on my car I just looked at all the big bits, then went from there. I had to send 7 pics and then they said yes or no. Also I sent them a 5 page list of parts on the car. Edited by madmk1 on 30th Apr, 2013. I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Mine is due. Minis are so expensive now i wonder if there is any point in agreed value rather than market value. I value mine at 5k but is the market value of a good condition replacement 1962 mini not even higher than that now |

I have one on my show mini, thing is they take the original new price then work out how much it would loose each year , obviously you can argue what they offer with lots of examples that are for sale at the time with a similar spec , but then no 2 minis are alike . For all the hassle its worth just getting one done . Mine has been 10k for the last 4 years , just keep taking new photos and sending them the build list and cost :) |

Yeah they want several pictures from around the car. There's quite alot of money in the engine and gearbox alone. I will take the pictures and make a list of all the parts and see what they say.

Graham Sykes are a pita. They insist on an independent valuation. Flux will say yes or no to your own valuation |

I was Asked how much mine was worth at the inception of my policy. When the car got written off they argued the value of the car, my reply was if you can find another mini that remotely resembles mine with similar spec I'll accept your offer. I received the full amount. And no I won't say how much and I kept the car. Other than a verbal declaration I surrendered no other documentation. Own the day
