A photo of the puller will help. There's three threaded holes in the flywheel and there should be three slots on the puller into which the bolts go, and the main threaded hole in the middle to which the business end goes onto. I'm just about to do this very job myself in a couple of minutes!

Pre verto is the fine threaded bolt. Just pulled that flywheel off.

Thanks guys I think I might need to make a trip to minispares an get a puller as this one is definatly not doing the job as the holes on the triangle bit (hopefully you know what I mean) is about half inch out so that the threaded bolt bits won't go into the triangle thing so a trip to mini spares may be in order

The minispares puller is a good bit of kit,the one Halfords sell is made from cheese in comparison and have had bolts pull through one before :/
