On way back from Newquay and the car suddenly became sluggish and stopped boosting. Then a nasty knocking noise started from the engine. Currently stuck trying to get passed Stonehenge to get to the service station to call the AA I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

also, pull the plug that wasnt connected in your other post... it may have got a bit fuely and decided to give up the ghost. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

Yes its still moving but the engine is very down on power, almost like its running on 3 cylinders, we are sat in the services now. I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

It's been sat on 70psi all the way then it dropped to 50psi when pulling away in traffic. I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

It looks like the head gasket has gone, just done a compression test and there was none in 3 and 4. I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

I know mate, as it was driving nice and strong, I think the best it ever has. We were cruising at 70 + all the way. Then it just went funny. Edited by madmk1 on 6th May, 2013. I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

What is it with headgaskets at the moment, my mate turned up at my house the other day with a failed headgasket. Lucky I had an old spare on the shelf.
