Just fitted my new arp studs, which is a much better fit than the standard ones. Anyway a couple are touching the cam, rather than cutting the top off the studs as I want to keep the keyway, I thought it would be easier to machine a little off the cam. Though I would not be taking a lot off, I was wondering if this would impact on the balance of the cam or anything else. Edited by philc on 6th May, 2013. |

I can't see it being a problem. You'll probably have to cylindrically grind it though as it will be hard.

the can will turn down no problem, i opt to reduce the length of the studs,as it removes weight, |
