Does the throttle lean off pipe need to be of a particular tyre, or can say a 5mm silicon tube be used?
Also, the same question for the blanked off anti run on.

Cheers guys. :)

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

Lake District

5mm tubing will be fine. ID is not critical to its function.

Lovely thanks Phil. I figured that would be the case, but i figured I'd make certain :)

Another quick question if I may...
On the throttle cable side, just above the idle screw area... In the second pic on that link it is at the 5 o'clock from the dash pot.....
Can that screw be bought separately? I think mine has snapped, as the head moves, but the bottom doesn't :(

I would not use the small bore silicon pipe, it is crap. If the lean off pipe splits the car will not run right and the small silicon tubes have a habit of splitting and not looking like they are split.

Cool, advice heeded. Perhaps I'll stick to the short bit of fuel pipe that's on it.

So, has anyone else had their idle screw bugger up? I'm a little unsure if it can be replaced, or even how to get the bastard out at the minute.
