gotta be careful tho, dont want to alienate non members, keep the forums open to all, but club members get access to club stands etc and maybe club discounts on parts/insurance etc.

i'de pay a membership, say £12 a year, this could pay for the running of the site and a huge banner for shows

TM will never ask for membership money.

We're a forum, with club features (club stands, stickers, RR days etc).

That's not changing.

so pretty much we are a club, but with out fee's and politics

If you are that desperate for TM to be a club, why not have a go at organising a club stand at an event yourself? Its all very well wanting to be a club with all that entails, but that does mean that someone is going to have to put in the extra work. As in the other thread "Donations for Alex", there are a couple of people who do plenty of work for the board in their own time as it is, and it would be unfair to pile any extra on them IMO.

i wouldnt mind doin a couple of events down this way, shame i havent got a drivable mini thoe

might as well remove this thread tho as theres no point in voting if theres no chance of being a 'club'. I retrospect i can see the reasons why.

I dont mind leaving it. Means no one else will ask.. hehe

Feel free to say you're IN the turbominis club. If I ever have a feature mini, I sure will.

I think it is a club.
You get most things you'd expect from a club, but you aren't asked to pay a membership fee.

yeah actually thinking abut it we have got it pretty sweet, maybe we could have allocated people to organise shows in different parts of the country, i dont mind doing the south east ones, the site seems to be growing quite quick so it should be quite a good turn out most times, what dya think?
