I went into tonight with the thoughts of finishing the head and maybe bolting it onto the engine....but on gathering my parts i appear to have misplaced / lost / put in a safe place the valve collets.

If they are identical in size, and the tapers match then I can't see a problem using them. It's quite likely that they are identical items, it wouldn't be the first time manufacturers use the same parts. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

They are different to standard collets, but may be the same as Granada collets. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel
