Hi Everyone,

A quick question regarding my clutch options, I'm currently building a low power 998 turbo and plan to run it while I prep another 998 engine for more power.
Ideally I would like to use the same clutch for both engines to save on money, as its a fairly budget build.
The first engine is probably going to be no more than 90 bananas or so, with similar torque figures and with the higher boost engine probably going up to 120-130 or so.
Now my question is what clutch it going to give me best bang for buck. Given that I already have a spare 998 clutch on the engine, a RTS with twin 998 springs would be cheap, if a bit overkill, and I don't know a great deal about them, although a little reading will sort that.
Secondly I could go for a turbo verto set up, which wouldn't cost a great deal, and would be alright for now but may struggle when I up the power later on.
Thirdly I could go for a orange/grey pre-verto clutch, which would be the most expensive option.

So what do you think my best option would be?

One of those updated verto's from minispares should do the job for the lot I would imagine.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

A turbo verto will probably be fine to get you going. An rts is a twin spring verto anyway so ripe for modification when you up your power.

A turbo spring with a decent plate will probably be ok with the higher power if everything is in good order.
