Im nearly finished building the new head for the metro, is it worth while using cam lube for the vvc mech and cams or okay with just a lavashing of oil?

I'm pretty sure people put cam lube on if it's going to be sat for a while, if you're going to put it straight on and get it running I'm sure well oiling it should be okay.

Oil will generally drain off over time, even over a few weeks, so I would always use a build paste like graphogen. It'll protect the cam until you have oil pressure.

Ooo, is it possible to steel a little bit? Just to be on the safe side? Are you working tomorrow?
