1.2mm is that all? what is the factory piece that gets cut out? is the flat box shape less strong as the factory folded peace?

Factory cars had the same boxes fitted as have hundreds of other cars, I can't see it causing a structural problem. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Exactly the same thickness as Minispares & Avonbar boxes......these are proven products. Only thing I didn't like about them is they can be a water trap, hence I listened to views on here and redesigned it.
