Hi me and a mate are thinking of wiring in a low oil pressure cut out switch in our cars to prevent serious damage should the oil pressure drop dangerously low. I've heard people plumbing in a SD1 sensor and using it to cut the fuel pump (but we are probably going to cut the power to the coil as mine would run ages with the fuel in the weber) but has anybody else out there used anything different? |

i whouldent do in a sreet car image pulling out onto the free way and she cuts out you look to see a car truck what ever o crap..

mine is a track car, so i'm ok with that, they are installed in alot of road cars (the afformentioned SD1), my mate just doesnt want the incident the other weekend when his gf nearly killed his car |

lol that didnt work for her, drove it 20miles with no water cause either the plastic plug on the thermostat housing had come loose, or more likely some thieving barstuard had taken it at the show they were at, when it got home the oil sounded like a deep fat fryer |
